PLEASE READ EVERYTHING:

Congratulations to all the division winners and everyone else who made it into the big dance!

Attached are the winner's bracket, the overall double elimination bracket, as well as the schedule for the playoffs.

Mark Colineri Jr. , as our National Tournament Director, will be running the stops.

All of the rules from the regular season will apply in the playoffs, with the exception of the Jersey Rule. Jerseys MUST BE WORN during the playoff competition. So please make sure you have your jerseys, or you will be ineligible. It may be beneficial to franchises to have multiple alternates.

Lineups will still be due at the same time. If you can get them in earlier than the required deadline, that would help us out as an organization due to the amount of teams.

ANY TIES in competition between teams (40-40), will be updated shortly here ...

Averages will REMAIN THE SAME for the entire day. Averages will be updated after competition is completed for the day.

Any protests MUST BE MADE immediately and on the spot. NOT frames later or after competition. If someone is in violation, the TSRs will issue a warning and the bowler must be in compliance immediately.

For those bowling twice in the same day, we will have a laptop available on site to submit your second lineup if needed. As always, payment is required when submitting lineups. We would like to get these second lineups in 45 minutes prior to competition. Failure to do so could result in a delay of start time.

We will have multiple TSRs assisting the National Tournament Director on site to ensure smooth competition.

MOST IMPORTANTLY and a friendly reminder, to please keep competition friendly and cordial. Trash talking and poor behavior will NOT be tolerated.

I would like to thank all the franchise owners this year for maintaining a professional atmosphere with their franchises. This alone is a major selling point to new franchises joining, and due to that, the league will be expanding by over 50% next year. So I say thank you.

Similar to last year, teams eliminated from competition will be paid out for the playoffs THAT day barring unforeseen circumstances. We find that bowlers appreciate immediate payouts and we would love to maintain that.

The new X-League trophy will be on site as well!

PLAYOFF RULES:

Playoff format will be based upon the number of teams in each division. For divisions that have an even number of teams, half of the teams from that division will make the playoffs. Should a division be an odd number, half +1 will make the playoffs. Additionally, X-League has the right to incorporate Wild Card teams into the playoffs to balance the bracket. As the X-League grows, the format may change year to year depending on the number of franchises as well as locations and will be identified within the first month of tour stops.

For this year, the playoff format will include double elimination unless there is “play in game (single elimination)” to make the bracket work properly.

Playoff seeding will be based on winning percentage. The winning percentage is calculated as Points Won divided by Total Possible Points.
